Description:
One in a series of photos showing Schneemann, a a slim, light skinned woman in her mid-30s, performing her piece "Interior Scroll." The basic lines of Schneemann's body are outlined in paint, and her hair is braided back from her face. She is standing nude at a folding table, her back to the camera, bent slightly at the waist with her left hand flat on the table and her right hand grasping an artists paintbrush just behind her. A rumpled sheet is draped across the table to her right and a pair of thong sandals is on the floor by the table.
