Nazism and Fascism - Description:
- 9 pages. Activities Manual No. 1 for JPFO Lodges. April is Passover and the Warsaw Ghetto. The history recounted here tells a story of Jews of different ideological persuasions (Bundist, Zionist, Communist) working and dying together in the armed Resistance. The manual suggests reciting the newly issued "Never to Forget, the Battle of the Warsaw Ghetto" by Howard Fast and William Gropper, published by the Book League of Jewish Peoples Fraternal Order, IWO. A radio play to be performed as a skit is also provided "Let No Tears be Shed" by Henry Goodman that ends with the cry: "Never! Never will the people of this world forget."

The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
