- Book launch notice from National Activities Director Sam Pevzner for "Never to Forget, the Battle of the Warsaw Ghetto" by Howard Fast and William Gropper, published by the Book League of Jewish Peoples Fraternal Order, IWO. Book reception with artist Bill Gropper at the Terrace Room of the Capitol Hotel, 834 - 836 Eighth Avenue, New York.
- Notes:
- Reception seems to have been timed for just before Passover based on other documents
The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans.
