Alleghany Count, New York - Measurement:
- 10.2 x 15.25 (centimeters, height x width)
- Description:
- Vertical image of an older, light skinned woman, outdoors, holding a bright orange sign with a skull and crossbones that reads "POSTED! NO DUMPING Don't Waste New York." The woman is in a crowd of people. She's looking at the camera and dressed for cold weather in a blue overcoat and navy beret, a little shock of white hair is sticking out from from under her hat, and she wears big round glasses. The people around her are all also light skinned and dressed for cold, they are a range of ages. The sign is small, likely 8.5" x 11", and the skull and crossbones has been embellished to include radioactive symbols in the eye sockets and a jagged outline.
- Notes:
- Set of chromogenic color prints of the protest of a radioactive waste disposal site in New York State.
