The Bronx - Measurement:
- 20 x 24 (inches, height x width)
- Description:
- Monochrome view looking at four abandoned apartment buildings that fill the frame from left to right. The buildings are brick, at least six stories, three have the same design of two columns of windows connected by a zig-zagging fire escape. All the buildings on the leftmost buiilding are boarded up, the windows on the others are vacant. The top two stores of the center building are black as though with fire damage, as is the top floor of the building to the right of it. The leftmost building is the closest to the camera, and a different face of the building is visible. All the windows are vacant and near the ground an exterior door is open and sagging off its hinges. In the foreground is uneven, gravelly land leading out to a small lip, obscuring the bases of the buildings.
