The top row shows a woman on the grounds outside the Kraton in Yoygakarta, Central Java. She is wearing a brown and white checkered sarong and a white shirt with a black plastic bag hanging over her left shoulder. The first two of the photographs of her show her from beyond, the photographer moving in closer over the two frames, and in the third picture she looks over her right shoulder at the camera lens. The second row shows a man wearing a white shirt and black pants with a towel and cloth draped over his head. He is walking down Jalan Malioboro, a commercial district in Yogyakarta, but all the shops and are closed. Again, over three frames the photographer tracks his subject's movement down the street.
