Two color photographs, the first a vertical picture of a man looking directly at the camera, the second a horizontal picture offering a close up view of the same man focusing on his lap, hands, and feet. In both pictures the man is sitting down on the side of a road, and is wearing a dirty burgundy jacket, black jeans, and black shoes held together with fabric strips tied around them. In the first vertical picture he makes direct eye contact with the lens. He has long black hair and a wrinkled face, has a number of different fabrics tied around his neck like a scarf, and sits with a yellow metal bucket at his feet. In the second, horizontal picture the photographer records his clothing, providing details of how the man's shoes are tied together and showing holes in his jeans. To the subject's left is a pile of color fabrics and bags.
