This is an invitation to Enos T Throop from Augustus Benjamin Fitch and Eliza Hatch Pitkin. Pitkin was the daughter of Eliza Hatch (half sister of Governor Enos T Throop) and the judge William B. Rochester. Prior to marrying Rochester, her mother was married to Gershom Powers who was instrumental in establishing the Auburn System of penal discipline.
