My Dearest Uncle,
Now, for a cosy chat with my dear uncle, with whom I have been yearning to converse for some days, but how one-sided an affair! No [?] in loving [?] all ego! ego! Would that I could see you "face to face", dearest uncle, and hear your dear voice, but here I am alone in the house with the [?]. William having gone to see W. Field of Williamsburg and Willie out. William goes to his office, no 10 [?] Brooklyn, at half past seven every morning, returning at seven or more often eight pm and having visits of [?] frequently after, or being fatigued and retiring early, I see but little of him. Willie off with his friends, I am much alone. I was very glad to receive your beloved letter offering me that your "heart was still with me", which rejoices mine, dearest uncle, for though I did not doubt your love, I was feeling sadly that - Work Type:
