Hon. E.T. Throop
Dear Sir,
A gentleman at Suspension [?] Bridge has been to [?] to see your farm and wants to buy it. Says he can pay $400 down and wants to know the place and time for [?] of payments. I [?] a letter for him yesterday. Shall I put it at [?] per acre? And how long shall I give him to pay the balance. He wants an immediate answer. From one of your last letters, in which, I think you said you did not care about selling the farm. I do not really feel authorized to to make him an offer till I hear from you again. Please write me immediately and direct to Clifton (Water [?]). I am home taking treatment for a recent attack of inflammatory rheumation [?] but I am improving and hope not to be obliged to remain over one or two weeks longer. When I get home I will arrange your last years taxes with the Co. Treasurer and take his [?] I write you again. With much [?] Truly yours, Alistair Sneeth [?] - Work Type:
