Saltzman, National Secretary of the Jewish Section of the I.W.O. for the Fourth National Convention in Pittsburgh, April 1938. Shows institutional self-understanding of the IWO as part of Jewish life. Major Headings: I (on page 3): The Situation of Jews Across the World. II (on page 11): The Building of a People's Front among the Jewish Masses. III (on page 18): Unity in the Fraternal Movement. IV (on page 22): The Organizational Life in the Order. V (on page 42): Cultural Activities in the Last Three Years. VI (on page 54): Our Children's Schools. VII (on page 61): How Has Our Organizational Apparatus been Working? Almost identical to "The I.W.O. in Jewish Life, Fourth National Convention Report.

- The Jewish People’s Fraternal Order was the largest ‘national’ section of the International Workers Order (IWO) which focused on cultural awareness and celebration, mutual support especially in health insurance coverage, and anti-fascist activities. The IWO also gave particular emphasis to supporting the rights and interests of African Americans. Documents include language and representations which comprise the historical record and should not be interpreted to mean that Cornell University or its staff endorse or approve of negative representations or stereotypes presented.
