- Description:
- This is a cast of a section of East III containing four heavily draped women carrying oinochoai in their lowered right hands and processing to the viewer's right. All four figures are damaged in the original. The bodies of figs. 7 and 8 are shown in three-quarter view and their heads are all but obliterated. Fig. 7's lower left leg is bared. Fig. 9, in profile, pulls her himation so as to reveal the curves of her buttocks and legs. Most of her upper body and head are heavily chipped. The lower portion of fig. 10's long chiton hangs with emphatically vertical folds. Her upper body, too, is largely marred by chipping.
