- Description:
- This is a large fragment from the upper right (viewer's) corner of South IX showing two horsemen riding to the right. Preserved here are the forward-looking head of fig. 24, missing from the neck down in this cast, and the head, neck, heavily mannered mane, shoulders, and raised front legs of his horse. In front of him rides fig. 25, who also looks forward, and whose neck and shoulders are obscured by the overlapping horse of fig. 24. Fig. 25's horse points its snout towards the ground and also has a heavily mannered mane.
