- Description:
- This is a large portion of a cast of fig. K, most commonly identified as Hestia or Leto, from the east pediment of the Parthenon. It preserves the lower body of the seated female figure, broken at the waist. A himation covers her lap, falling in folds across it. The garment is stretched over her knees and calves. Part of the figure's damaged (in the original) left foot is missing here, as are parts of the lowest portion of the cast.
