Design an addition to the existing church with a secondary entrance, an assembly space with supporting kitchen and restroom facilities, and six classroom spaces within a limited budget.
The design centered on one large space for assembly that could be sub-divided into six classrooms spaces, each identifiable by the structural form, individual ‘oculus’ skylights and movable partitions. A concrete column grid and masonry-bearing corner walls supports tension concrete beams and six cast-in-place concrete thin shells. - Format:
