Captioned Joseph T. Rothrock, a fellow-student at Harvard. Captain in a Pennsylvania regiment, and wounded at Fredericksburg. As predicted at our parting in Cambridge a ball was in his leg and was cut out by me, the chloroform being given by J.F.A. Adams, another fellow-pupil.
