Even the top shelves of the serve-and-storage center in the Cornell Kitchen are within the reach of MIss Barbara Kenrick, instructor in housing and design at the College of Home Economics, Cornell. The slant of the cabinets makes the higher shelves more accessible. Space is provided here for china and glassware. Still in the experimental stage, the kitchen was designed through the cooperation of home economists, social psychologists, engineers, and architects.
