This model is a reconstruction of the North Building of the Nunnery at Uxmal. It was produced by G. Kramer of Tulane University, for the Uxmal Expedition exhibit in the Century of Progress Exposition of the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. The archaeologist Frans Blom of the Middle America n Research Department of Tulane University also worked on the design.
