- Description:
- Swaan, Wim. The Late Middle Ages, Art and Architecture from 1350 to the Advent of the Renaissance (1977), p. 32, pl. 38. "There is no tomb within, but in the second compartment from the east is an arched recess containing an emaciated figure of the Bishop. Behind the altar and reredo s is a small chamber which was used as a vestry or an oratory. The scale of the chapel, the exuberant detail in every part and the exquisite craftsmanship displayed in the wealth of carved ornament render it one of the most imposing in the country."
