- Description:
- One of the largest sandstone temples. Square three-storied temple. Each story has sculptures of Vishnu standing (Sthanka), sitting (Asana), and reclining (Sayana). Dates: mid to late 8th C., probably 736-796. Built by Nandivarman (Pallava).
