- Description:
- Established as the capital of Mewa by Udai Singh after the sacking of Chittaurgarh by Emperor Akbar. Built around an artificial lake, Pichola. Dates: mid 16th C., probably 1567. Built by Rana Udai Singh (reg. 1536-1572).
