- Based on the great Chola Temples in Thanjavur and Gangaikondacholapuram it is articulated with icons carved in black basalt. Of note is Rajagambiran Mandapa designed as a chariot. Dates: mid 12th C. Built by Rajaraja II (reg. 1146-1172).
