- Description:
- View from above at a slight distance onto an active granite quarry. Off-white stone faces have been cut into sharp, flat faces. In the center of the image are a series of large step-like sections with levels accessible by ladders, and some tools, racks, and smoke visible. The scale of the man-made objects is tiny compared to the enormity of the rock, but the evidence of reshaping of the rock is also unavoidable in the image.
