Kameny, Frank, 1925-2011
Civil rights
African Americans in the Gay Rights Movement - Description:
- Medium shot of two men in conversation at a classroom or office table. On the left, Boozer, a Black man with short hair wearing a cardigan, is smiling broadly and bringing a coffee cup to his mouth. Next to him at the table, Kameny, a mostly bald, light skinned man in a suit, seems to be mid-word and glancing toward his companion. In front of them on the table are notepads, eyeglasses and a satchel, while behind them are windows, printed pro-labor posters, and a handwritten sign reading "No Smoking."
