- Description:
- Monochromatic view of large bamboo stalks growing, reaching up beyond the picture frame. The bamboo grows straight up, without leaves, in a dense grove, and the trunks have horizontal bands at wide intervals. In the front row, one has been cut in cross section to show the shelf-like structure within. A bucket on the ground near the end of the cut off piece looks very small indeed.
- Notes:
- Albumen print mounted on board.
