- Description:
- This is a cast of a portrait bust of the 2nd c. CE Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius. He is represented here in the military garb of an emperor including the paludamentum (cloak) fastened at his right shoulder with a round fibula. The emperor turns his head to his right and looks intently ahead. His beard is well-groomed, his curly hair is bushy at the sides.
