- Description:
- Close up double portrait of Cameron's granddaughters Margaret and Charlotte Norman, trimmed into a circle. The two girls look solemnly in opposite directions, the one on the right with her arm round her sister's shoulders and her head inclined toward her, her eyes gazing upward. Both girls are light skinned, close-mouthed, in dark clothes, and with dark hair tied up off their faces. The sisters are slightly soft, an impression intensified by a blurred motion at the bottom of the circle between them. The title is handwritten below the image.
- Notes:
- Matted albumen print with handwritten inscription held at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum. The Rare and Manuscript Collections also hold some mass produced photographs by Cameron; the Loewentheil collection includes 4 CDVs of Cameron's photographs, including one of William Michael Rosetti in Bd. Ms. 34
