- Description:
- A soft, dappled image of three women standing together in a cobblestone street with several others looking on. The three women are on the left side of the image, visible in full, wearing below-the-knee spreading skirts with striped aprons over, and thick long-sleeved jackets. They are facing the camera, but their faces are blurry. The sun streams from behind giving them bright haloes. They stand intimately close together, two perhaps holding hands, the third leaning on her friend's shoulder. To the right are a few more women standing against a wall; one holds a basin of laundry, another sits next to a woven basket, but they are all blurred with motion.
- Notes:
- Matted salted paper print.
