- Description:
- A person, in profile, full-length, dressed as a caballero aguila, or eagle knight, of the Aztec army. He is wearing an eagle costume with an instrument to their lips. The eagle costume has a black head and the person's face comes through the open beak, it has light- and dark-colored feathers in no obvious pattern and hangs to the knee. The person is facing the left edge of the image; their left arm is raised, giving the impression that the eagle's wing curves outward. They wear white socks and dark shoes and are standing with their weight on their toes so their legs are tense. The person is posed against a painted cement wall, which has a lighter band toward the bottom, and lots of scrapes and pits in it. Immediately behind the person's shoulders is a rough line drawing of a face also looking to the right. The light is quite bright both above the person's head and below their knees, making an hourglass shape.
- Notes:
- Matted gelatin silver print.
