portraits - Description:
- Full length portrait of two African American men in tan uniforms standing outdoors in a garden. The two men are looking into the camera, the man on the left has his arm around the shoulder of the man on the right; they both have slight smiles. The image is an elongated hexagon shape with soft corners, it's in a wooden frame with a floral motif. The hand painting is all encompassing and makes the image look more like a painting than a photograph. The seams of the men's clothing, their buttons and their faces have all been traced over, and bright colored flowers have been painted up to their knees as though they are standing in in a flowering meadow. The sky has been painted in the subtle pinks and blues of dawn or dusk.
- Notes:
- Framed portrait.
