- Description:
- Uncut sheet of cartes-de-visite, 8 images in two rows. All images feature the same light skinned man with bushy sideburns in a cutaway coat and plaid trousers shot in a studio with a drape and furniture with barley twist legs. In the first three images he stands formally in a top hat, one hand on his umbrella, the other at his waist. In the others he is seated, hatless, a book on his crossed leg as though he's reading.

- Uncut sheet of cartes-de-visite. Disdéri patented the carte-de-visite in 1854.
