Notes:
A German poster with three maps, illustrating "What France has stolen from Germany, and what it will yet steal." The three maps show the situation in 1547 ("In the West, Verdun and Toul are German!); 1786 (" Even Toul and Verdun are French "); and 1812 ("the French objective, possession of the left bank of the Rhine, is everywhere attained"). The lesson from the three maps - "The much vaunted French 'disinterestedness' is predatory politics!"

It's interesting to compare this poster to ID #1186 "Le Respect des Droits de L'Homme", which presents three maps illustrating the capture of French territory by the Germans - over the period 1870, 1871 and 1914!
