This version of the suffrage map was published after New York State had granted women the vote and while the federal constitutional amendment was pending in the Congress. It emphasizes the importance of the women's votes in the pending election. The size of the map allowed presentation of an unusual amount of information on precisely what suffrage had been adopted in each state.
