- Description:
- A light skinned young woman and toddler are seated on the ground under a small leafy tree. The woman, dressed in a flowing white dress with loose long hair, looks down and points into the book held by the toddler. In her right hand, the woman holds a trailing mass of either plants or needlework that echo the drape of her hair. Although the people and the tree are in soft but clear focus, the grassy field they sit in blurred as though it is in a slightly swirling motion.
