- Description:
- Nine young boys posed together in front of a door at an unidentified English woolen mill near Shipley, West Yorkshire, England. Note the dog (see also 2002.40.19) lying in front of them wearing a flower wreath, and the flowers in the buttonholes of the jackets on three of the boys, probably in honor of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897. Boys are all wearing caps; some wear jackets; ages range from approximately 9 or 10 to perhaps 13 or 14.
