- Description:
- An older light skinned man, standing in 3/4 profile, pours a small pan of water back into a scouring bath. The scouring bath itself dwarfs the man, metal pipes and rollers extend across the frame high above the man's head, while its multiple bolts of light-colored fabric fill the left center of the frame. To the right of the machine, behind the man, is a tall glass block window letting in bright white light.
