- Description:
- The camera looks over the right shoulder of a light skinned woman as she threads heddles - thin metal loops used to separate and control the warp threads. There is a thick black band of negative space at the top of the image, echoed by the thick, dark, horizontal line at the top of the harness (the frame that holds the heddles). These horizontals are contrasted by the fine vertical lines of the hundreds of light-colored threads above the harness, the hundreds of shiny heddles below, and the wavy high-contrast lines on the woman's shirt.
