- Description:
- Small body sherd from a hand-painted, polychrome, pearlware vessel
larger than a teacup, but otherwise indefinite form. Painted decoration includes blue, green, and dark brown, all applied under the clear glaze. The vessel represented by this piece was probably one of the nicer pieces to find its way into the slave cabin. - Bibliography:
