- Description:
- Flaked stone blade, probably a halberd or spearpoint. Medium-brown flint, mottled and banded. Nicely, bifacially pressure-flaked to produce a long, slightly convex tapering blade with a shorter tapering handle or haft section
lenticular in cross-section. The short, tapering "handle" area is unlike a Danish Neolithic dagger
this is more likely a halberd blade or spearpoint (depending on whether it was hafted at the end of a shaft, or perpendicular to a wood handle). - Bibliography:
