Image of a Korean man walking down the street. He is wearing a typical two-part peasant's outfit and a large hat. His jacket, called a echogorie, and trousers, called a epajie, are white and made mostly of cotton. His hat, called a esatkate, is made out of plant fiber. His shoes, called a echipsine, are made of straw. In the background towards the right, a man wearing another traditional outfit can be seen. He is wearing a long overcoat called a eturumagie and a horsehair hat called a ehukripe. The contrasting outfits of these two men reveal their different social and economic status.
