Four small Korean children with a group of dignitaries pose for the photographer. Two Korean flags behind them are displayed at 'Chuhapru', at 'Changdokkung' (Palace). Chuhapru, built during king 'Yongjo''s (1724-1776) final years (the time of the American Revolutionary War), is a two storied pavilion. The lower floor was used as a royal library while the top floor provided a place for entertainment and feasts. On the left side of the picture, Japanese soldiers are lined up on the lower ground. The occasion is unknown.
