- Elias Root Beadle Willis (1879-1859) Cornell Associate Librarian Emeritus. Willis graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in 1901, and went on to receive a Masters in Arts from Cornell University. After graduating from Cornell in 1915 he began working with the Cornell University Library, now Uris Library, until his retirement in 1947. This room is dedicated in his honor.
