John Christen Johansen is an American artist of Danish Decent. He is the artist of the "Signing of the Treaty of Versailles" painting, which depicts the leaders of the allied nations and Germany at the signing ceremony held in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles Palace, Paris [Smithsonian American Art Museum. It is currently located in the National Portrait gallery of the Smithsonian Institution.
