- Emeritus Trustee and Presidential Councillor, Jansen Noyes, Jr.(1918-2004), 11th Chairman of Cornell University Board of Trustees (1978-1984), graduate of Cornell class of 1939 in mechanical engineering, and member of the Psi Upsilon fraternity. “Jansen is the third in a line of five generations of Cornellians dating from 1876 to 2004,” [Noyes Jr.,”Cornell Chronicle, March 25, 2004, http://www.news.cornell.edu/chronicle/04/3.25.04/Obituaries.html]. In 1965, Jansen Noyes, Jr. and his wife Dorothy "Dottie" O'Day Noyes donated a freshman center to the Cornell campus. Today the original Noyes center has been replaced by the Noyes Community Recreational Center, donated by Jansen Noyes III’ 69 and Jansen Noyes IV’ 04. Leo Neufeld is an American portrait and landscape artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Painting/Drawing (1972), he studied at the Art Student League of New York (1976-84), and the National Academy of Design in New York City (1982-83). He has taught at the New York Academy of Art of New York (1985-88) and National Academy of Design (1988-89), and the Harwood Art Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico (1995-present). - Source:
