- "In 1908 the University added four new bells. The chimes and the original bells were recast and returned. In 1928 two bells were added and a modern playing stand was installed through the generosity of friends of Cornell University connected with the family of Jennie McGraw Fiske. "I wake at night and think I hear remembered chimes." Inscription, entrance to McGraw Tower.
