- An example of the so-called "Books" series by the artist (and Cornell faculty member) Jason Seley. A related work, "1937 Books," was formerly on view in Olin Library. Each comprises welded chromium auto parts resembling stacks of books. Each stack stands on a black metal base inscribed with the names of the books the artist read that year. On extended loan from the estate of Jason Seley, 1984.
