- "Our Fair Cornell" painting of the Cornell University campus was created in honor of the Class of 1957 renovation of the Otto Kinkeldey Room in Uris Library. 400 giclée reproductions of this painting were made available for sale with all proceeds benefiting the Library Endowment Fund.
Bill Schmidt is an American painter from Maryland. Schmidt earned a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University '57. He worked as a nuclear engineer, consultant and President of a training firm, before becoming a professional landscape painter. ["About the Artist: Bill Schmidt."
