- Plaque with inscription "Lewis Knudson 1884-1958 Pioneer in Plant Physiology". Items important to Knudson’s career appear on the plaque including an orchid, probably the vanilla orchid, a flask with orchids in sterile culture, a test tube of nitrogen fixing bacteria, a fern and an Erlenmeyer flask. The plaque was originally placed in Knudson reading room (room 260 Plant Science). Plant Sciences Building, Tower Road, Cornell Campus, Ithaca, N.Y. The reading room was proposed by Daniel Clark to honor Lewis Knudson. The plaque is still on the wall in room 260, which is now used as a combined computer and mail room.
