mochica indians - Measurement:

- Unknown authenticity. Moche-style face pot, but in beaker form, which is rare. Paint is matt, which is also not usual.painted earthenware

part of this scarf also comes across her forehead covering her hair
face and scarf painted white- scarf and eyes have more layers of paint/ glaze added than the rest of the face
on the "headband" is a design of beans enclosed by 2 parallel lines- this entire design is crisscrossed once across the forehead region - Archival Collection:
