- Moro flag (or banner). Rectangular piece of red cloth with appliquéd pieces: a blue field at upper left (in the front view) contains five stars
at lower left is an unidentified element
at center is a building, possibly representing the palace of the Sultan of Sulu
and at right are crossed kris (dagger) and spear. Such flags were carried by military units fighting against the US in the Philippines, 1898-1913. - Archival Collection:
